LysistrataS is an adaptation of Aristophanes ancient Greek comedy Lysistrata. Originally a comic account of a woman’s mission to end the Peloponnesian War between Greek city states by denying all the men of the land any sex, is now grounded on modern times with new, previously marginalized voices. A protest, one act piece that’s both real and entertaining.

Controversial? You bet. Entertaining? Absolutely. Packed with inappropriate sex jokes and raunchy language? Yes, but it is Lysistrata! Aristophanes will tell you his was dirtier!
