About Me

Anadina Saladino (Gautreaux) is an up-and-coming, Latina theatre actor, director, and playwright based in Staten Island, New York.

In 2021, Saladino wrote and directed Trouble At Home, an adaptation of Sor Juana Inez de La Cruz’s Los Empeños De Una Casa. The play was produced by the Staten Island Shakespearean Theatre Company in New York.

In 2022, Saladino directed Lynn Nottage’s Sweat, produced by Ghostlight Players in Staten Island.

Saladino was classically trained at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and graduated Cum Laude in Dramatic Arts from the College of Staten Island, where she was the first student invited to produce an original work for a thesis and the recipient of the Dramatic Arts award.
